My life's greatest passion is the art of the story and the vehicles through which we spin our personal myths into a universal tapestry.
I am currently the managing editor of The Comics Beat. In the past, I have worked as an interning editor for Papercutz, a publisher of all-ages graphic novels.
In May 2015, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University with a B.A in English and American Literature and a minor in Web Programming and Applications. My senior Honors thesis on the comics of Grant Morrison won an Honorable Mention Award as part of NYU's Contemporary Literary Series.
By and large, my writing is a mixture of personal essays and media criticism, as I believe that relating the formal elements of storytelling to our individual narratives has the ability to deepen our lives and the way we relate to our media. In addition to reviewing comics, I write my own.
